We've been in lake lure for the past 60+ years. It's nice to finally have a proper grocery store year round. Great selection and prices are good(not great). Staff can be hit or miss as a lot of the younger people working here act like they hate their life and it shows in their attitude. That said the bakery department is awesome, I special ordered a cake for the girlfriends birthday and they went above and beyond. Try the seafood, it's actually priced at what you'd pay on the coastal side of NC.
Very impressed by whole place. Great prices all around. Picked up a card while there for discounts and points.
They have a wide selection food. Also one of the best sub sandwiches in the deli area. They are made fresh and to your specifications.
Cashiers were very friendly and efficient. Store was brightly lit and well stocked
The store is getting a lot more variety of items that I couldn't find before, when I can locate them in the store. They have reorganized the store so it takes me a lot longer to find the things I need. Their produce isn't that great. Avocados are pricier than other grocery stores in the area and almost always overripe. Zucchini and squash has also been too soft and needed to be thrown out. The past few bags of apples I've bought have been mealy and badly bruised. The produce section really needs to get it together and sell fresh produce and trash the bad. The prices in the rest of the store are nicely priced, less expensive than Bi-Lo for sure.
